Bilawal Bhutto will contest election from Lyari-says Zardari
President Asif Ali Zardari has announced the name of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for contesting in the upcoming general elections from Liyari constituency.
He said this while addressing a meeting here at Bilawal House to review the law and order situation in Karachi. President Zardari maintained that Liyari is Pakistan Peoples Party’s heart adding, “this is my utmost desire that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari should contest election from Liyari constituency in the upcoming elections”.
Besides, the President said that he would meet with the representatives and notables of the Liyari constituency in two or three months to discuss the arrangements for the upcoming general elections.
On the occasion, President Zardari directed the elected representatives of the said constituency to complete all the ongoing development projects till the end of this year.
While Bilawal Bhutto Zardari would come back to Pakistan in September after Eid and will start his practically political career from Liyari, said the President.

He also ordered compensation for the heirs of the victims killed in Karachi unrest. It was in the meeting that Zardari announced Bilawal will contest the next election from Lyari. Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik, provincial ministers and legislators from Lyari and high officials attended the meeting.</p><p> </p><p>The meeting reviewed the progress on projects, including roads, sewerage system, Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical University, flyovers and water supply schemes.
